Since 1990, young people have come to the mission to be trained in the Bible and a vocation. In East Africa, unemployment is over 70%! Many young Kenyan men have been trained in the Bible at the Lighthouse Bible Institute, and many of those have gone on to become pastors or workers in local growing churches. Classes begin each May and continue for 1 year annually graduating 8-12 young adults.. We had added a second stream of students which consists of 6-8 young adults.
