Memorial and Honorary gifts
A memorial gift is a charitable gift that honors the memory of your loved one and extends their influence by helping someone else. The honorary gift is a charitable gift made in honor of a living person. The Lighthouse for Christ Mission is diligent in its desire to apply these donations directly to human need.
A memorial or honorary gift can be designated for a specific need. The Lighthouse needs include: The Blind Children's Fund, The Doctor's Fund, The Mobile Eye Camp Fund, The Staff Education Fund, The New Eye Clinic Building Fund, and the General Operating Fund.
Because of memorial and honorary gifts, the Lighthouse is able to fulfill our mission to provide healing for physical and spiritual blindness on the East Coast of Africa . Your generous donation will help our medical ministry to children and adults, our need for qualified doctors, and our ministry of pastoral training and evangelism. We are grateful for gifts which are made “in memory of” or “in honor of” a loved one.
All memorial and honorary gifts are listed in our annual report unless otherwise directed by the donor family. The Lighthouse for Christ Mission, its staff and volunteers, and all who we serve in Kenya thank you very much.
